Many web developers use pre-coded templates, but these templates perform poorly in search engines and offer limited design options. Your website build should be custom coded and built around your business needs, so it delivers real results.
Can you talk to your web developer personally or will there just be an email address? Are they even based in Australia? Many companies limit or stop you having direct contact with your website developer, but this often results in poor understanding and frustration.
Who owns the copyright of the content and any images used in the website? Who owns the domain name to your website? Check this, some website companies will use your domain to tie you in with their website developers.

Most web developers will maintain that their websites are ‘search engine friendly’, this is in general a cop out. Test where your web developer’s own website ranks in Google for keywords and see what they have done for their customers.

Our Website Developers Process
Any successful project starts with understanding your business and what you’re looking to achieve. We offer a free full consultation with one of our experienced web marketing consultants who will sit down and create with you a web site design brief.
1. Web marketing consultation
We take the time to learn about you and your business and explain different options and how they can help you achieve the results you’re looking for.
Once we agree on the right strategy, we can think about the navigation for the website and what features you’ll need.
2. Intro to your web developer
You will be introduced to your website developers who will work with you and your web marketing consultant to build your website.
You’ll discuss logos, images, colours and style so that we have a clear understanding of your preferences, before putting together your home web page design for your website and it's features.
3. Homepage sign-off
The first stage of the build is to agree the home web page design. Your web developers will construct the homepage and you’ll have the opportunity to provide feedback and make changes.
Once you sign off the homepage, your web developer will start work on the rest of the website.
4. Web marketing consultation
Your web developer will build the remaining pages of your website with images, text, video and the agreed functionality.
We will write all the content ourselves or you can get involved in the writing process if you prefer. We can source images from our stock library, use your supplier’s images, or use your own photos.
5. Website feedback
Once your web developer has completed the build, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback about every aspect of your website.
Based on your input your web developer will make all the necessary changes to complete your website.
6. Website signoff
After your web developer has made all the requested changes to your satisfaction, you will sign off the website design, so the site can go live.
7. Web and SEO standards
Your new website must pass out strict quality control standards including W3C compliancy, before it can be accepted by our SEO team.

8. SEO campaign
The SEO team will begin your SEO campaign to get your website to page one for your selected keywords and areas.
